The Speakers Club of IIT Bombay prides itself as being the only club where you need no prerequisites to enter, participate and become good. Be it building confidence, incessant blabbering or serious verbal battles, we indulge in everything related to speaking.
The Speakers Club holds meets every fortnight, providing a platform for people to speak and improve their speaking skills, and various activities which include debating, JAM (Just A Minute), MUN(Model United Nations), GD and other forms of extempore speaking are held.
The debating scene of IIT Bombay has grown many folds in the last few years, and IIT Bombay has now become one of the best Debating Institutions in the country.
Another very popular event is the JAM. JAM-ing has for many years been synonymous with IIT Bombay, and it is a great place for people to hone their extempore speaking skills, all in a good laugh.
The Speakers Club meets are open to everyone, and are always an enthralling experience because the atmosphere in the meet leaves you at the end of day, feeling like you have learnt something.
